by Lauro Lotti @ Commenti per Hotel 2.0

Salve.

by Danilo Pontone @ Commenti per Hotel 2.0

Mauro, mi trovi ovviamente d'accordo. Gli albergatori non sono dei robot. Tutti possono sbagliare qualcosa. Ciao, Danilo

Top Landing Pages Tips to Implement

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

Any webpage that an individual lands on exists for the sole purpose of obtaining personal information through a form is called a “landing page.”  However, as an internet marketer or online entrepreneur, you have to convince the visitor that you appreciate them and that they are important to you.  In order to accomplish this, you have to develop a landing page that creates a better experience for the user.  The following tips should help you accomplish that: Answer the buyer’s questions and solicit their feedback – chances are any potential buyer is going to have a myriad of questions once they arrive on your landing page.  Not only do you want to provide them with the answers they are looking for, you also want to hear what they have to say in order to create the best user experience. Don’t neglect the mobile user – 50% of internet browsing is now conducted on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.  So perspective customers will be interacting with your with a landing page, at one point in time or another, with a wide range of devices and in a broad range of environments and prospective buyers will not give you the time of day if your landing page is not mobile-friendly. Never talk about yourself; engage the prospective buyer – it goes without saying that you have to deliver your marketing message at the appropriate time.  The unique value proposition of your product or service needs to be communicated in the headline or title.  This sets the mood and the tone of your landing page. Provide all the information you can – if you want to sell your products or services, you need to disclose as much information about them as possible.  Never withhold any information because they will get frustrated...

How to Test Your PBNs Before Adding Them to Your Network

by Matt Diggity @ Diggity Marketing

First off… Happy New Year!  I’d like to kick things off this year with a technique that I highly recommend you start incorporating as soon as possible: PBN testing. In my last article about debugging backlink results, I alluded to the fact that in order to successfully make sense of SERP movement, you’ll need be 100% sure that your PBNs are clean. SEO is getting increasingly complicated.  Results depend on a large number of interconnected factors.  The only way to truly understand your results is to eliminate as many unknowns as possible.  And that starts with testing your PBNs. By testing your PBNs you’ll find out if your costly PBN investment is actually getting you the return you expect.  At the same time, you’ll get the peace of mind knowing for sure that your PBNs produce positive results, enabling you to focus on the multitude of other ranking factors.

Social Media Marketing for Optimizing Rank and Search Visibility

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

Are you happy with the amount of visitor traffic you’ve been getting at your blog or website? Are you aware of the most recent SEO (search engine optimization) changes.  Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or a seasoned internet marketer, these two elements are vital to the survival of your online business. Recent changes with Google have brought social media marketing to center stage and put the emphasis on optimizing search rankings and visibility. The new algorithms have ensured that quality content and organic links stay while black hat techniques are spammed. Thus, whether or not this affected the flow of traffic at your website it’s important to understand why those changes were made. There are 3 ways that you can use social media marketing to optimize your rank and increase your visibility: Reduce your reliance on the traffic you receive through organic (unpaid) search marketing to build a stronger social media following Use social media platforms to generate better ideas for your content and incorporate them into your content marketing strategy. Use your social media presence to encourage building your backlinks and promote them. Connect directly with your consumers, fans and public for suggestions and feedback that can improve your business services. You need a complete search engine optimization and social media marketing strategy.  Create and develop a unified message about your brand to drive visibility across all channels and content.  Define your execution strategy across your SEO practices as well as content development and sharing on social media platforms. The more people see it, the better it is for your business. In order to do this, you have to rethink the development of keywords and key phrases.  The focus becomes more about competition in your industry regarding your corporate or executive brand.  Determine what you want your target...

How AdWords, PPC, SEO, and SEM Fundamentally Differ

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

If you have a business website, chances are high that you need to get your business on the first page of the major search engines. In discussions between groups of internet marketers or online entrepreneurs, you will hear them discuss topics such as AdWords, PPC, SEO and SEM.  However, these concepts are oftentimes confused and create problems when trying to decide on the best marketing strategy for a specific business.  It is best to contact an experienced digital marketing agency for your website requirements. However if you know the basics about it, that can be of help. The following content should put things into perspective for you. PPC or Pay-per-Click advertising (including AdWords) – this particular form of online marketing includes the ads that you typically see on the major search engines such as Bing, Google, and Yahoo!. They are the ads that you see along the right-hand side and across the top of the SERP’s or search engine results pages.  They appear on Facebook as well.  The advertiser is charged only when they are clicked on. SEO or Search Engine Optimization – this is the practice that makes your website what is known as “search engine-friendly.” But unlike PPC, you cannot pay for a better ranking position on the SERP’s.  Obviously, the goal of any organic or unpaid search is to land in the top spot on the first results page. SEM or Search Engine Marketing – SEM is a marketing technique that is designed to increase your search engine visibility. It is an umbrella that encompasses 3 strategies including PPC, SEO, and SERM or search engine reputation management. The key is to develop a strategy that combines all of these and find one that generates a good return for your marketing investment.  Remember, making an online profit is...

Improve Your Search Engine Marketing With These Helpful Tips

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

As an aspiring internet marketer or online entrepreneur, you may have heard the term, or been introduced to the concept of “search marketing.” For those of you who haven’t familiarized yourself with the term, search marketing is a process that is used to drive visitor traffic to your website, and increase your market visibility in the process. This helps to get more customers for your business products or services; helping increase the profits and enhancing the business growth. It is comprised of two different types of marketing efforts: SEM (search engine marketing) – buying visitor traffic by paying for your search listings SEO (search engine optimization) – earning visitor traffic with FREE or unpaid search listings (referred to as organic search marketing) Whether you are a new start-up or a seasoned veteran, all businesses need to get a word out about their business and/or company. Here are five (5) tips that will help you maximize your search engine marketing strategy, as well as your online marketing budget: Develop a relevant landing page – Your instincts may tell you that you need to link your ads directly to your website’s home page. However, linking to a landing page will tell your visitors what they need to do (a call to action) such as: “Call NOW”, “Contact us for an estimate”, or “Sign up TODAY”. Find the right hook – You have to create competitive advertising copy in order to separate your ads from the others appearing on the search engine results pages (SERP’s). Using social media – These networks work well in conjunction with other digital advertising. From posting on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+, to advertising on these channels, you can increase the SERPs. Implement A/B ad testing – Never settle for your first advertisement. Create several versions of the...

Why Social Media Marketing is better than PPC

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

There are a number of marketing strategies that online businesses employ in order to drive more traffic to their website, generate more qualified leads, and make more sales.  Two of the more popular methods involve PPC or pay-per-click advertising and social media marketing or SMM.  One of the more common questions regarding these two marketing methods is “which one is right for my particular business?” One school of thought contends that there is a greater return on their investment when using PPC while the other feels is in favor of SMM. Naturally, the first aspect that crosses every businessperson’s mind is their budgets and what they can afford to invest in their marketing efforts.  While budgets are a major factor involved in the decision making process, there are other factors that are equally as important if not more so.  The gist of the argument is that anyone with a huge budget can spend as much as they need to in order to accomplish their objectives and meet their business goals. Most experts did not prefer paid search which is usually termed as online ads, as a marketing channel. While the social media marketing helps you grab eyeballs faster as most of the people log into the social media websites, more often than any other website. Additionally, they log into other websites using social media channels, so your promotions online have higher visibility on social media, which cannot be ignored. The contention is that you could be at the top of your game one day (in other words, the top of the search engine rankings) and fall into obscurity the next.  Although this seems a bit irrational, the odds of being profitable are oftentimes turned against you.  Proponents of SMM argue that they are less vulnerable to that irrationality and that...

How to Get the Best Out Of Landing Pages

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

In internet marketing, the webpage that a person is redirected to by clicking on a hyperlink found on your website’s home page or some other unrelated webpage is normally referred to as a “landing page” or “lead capture page.”  The primary purpose of that page is to collect user information (e.g. name and e-mail address) and enable you to connect with them and promote your business. If you are looking to quickly garner audience that will be interested in buying your products and services, you need to have a compelling website and persuasive landing pages. However, unless your landing page is properly optimized, you won’t be converting visitor traffic into leads and potential revenues. In order to get the best out of your landing pages (i.e. increased leads and revenue from sales), here are 7 elements that must be in place: Aesthetically appealing designs – separates you from your competition and attracts more qualified visitor traffic and sales leads Credibility and trust – badges such as the BBB, industry-specific accolades, and testimonials let website visitors know that you are a credible and trustworthy business. Connect with social media channels so that your business is connected with the consumers Goal-specific forms – getting names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information generates higher quality leads Headlines that grab visitors attention – provides an outline of what you are offering, and keeps them reading more about your business No distractions – keeps your landing page visitor focus on what you’re offering and the call to action you have in place, thereby increasing your conversion rate. Having quality content on the pages is essential. One offer only – makes the process simpler instead of having multiple offers which tends to confuse the visitor and drives them away. If you have deals or...

Ways to Dominate Local Search

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

Geo-specific marketing for a local company is oftentimes a difficult proposition to contend with.  Indeed, it’s very challenging to get one specific business locale to achieve a high position in the SERP’s (search engine ranking pages) much less hundreds or thousands of companies.  This is especially true when they are spread out across great distances.  Probably one of the best ways to dominate local searches is by creating geo-specific, unique landing pages.  In other words, you have to have a local landing page that has been well-designed for every business location. Here are some additional tips that could make the challenge of ranking highly in local searches considerably easier and much more effective: Create unique local content – it is extremely difficult to create content that is unique to each location.  Content that is identical and only has a few noticeable changes is viewed as being bad where the search engines and your potential customers are concerned. Develop headlines and title tags that are keyword optimized and unique to your particular location – be sure your Meta data includes your city, state, and zip code while having a unique description for each webpage. Images and photos – these will help you to differentiate your listing from everyone else’s, encourage interaction, and increase engagement with your website visitors.  A local landing page that is devoid of images or photos typically experiences a much higher than average bounce rate. Make your “NAP” visible – in other words, your company name, address, and phone number needs to be in a page position where it is very easy to see.  Additionally, you want to ensure that your NAP is consistent throughout your entire website. Take advantage of Google’s local maps – you need to embed a Google local map and not some generic map...

How to Make Keyword Research and Analytics Easy and Accurate

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

The purpose of keyword research is to extend your reach to prospective clients or customers and teach you how they look for and find your products or services.  Unfortunately, the keyword research tools that are available typically return a list of the most commonly searched key phrases and keywords.  Not only are these phrases and words extremely competitive, they may not be relevant to your products or services. However keyword research needs to be systematic and words and phrases need to be accurate, otherwise it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. The only way to ensure that you use the right keywords is to base your research on highly accurate, real data.  Furthermore, the only way you are going to realize any value from them is to act on them and use them in your search optimized marketing campaigns.  The bottom line is that this requires more actionable and relevant data.  Remember, this is the basis for every search marketing strategy and that is what makes a product or service sell. With Google AdWords, there are 2 distinct ways of getting the most accurate traffic data: Use the BMM (Broad Match Modifier) – by placing a plus (+) sign in front of your key phrases or keywords, Google will automatically know that these have to show up in the search query. Just keep in mind that these can appear in any order and include abbreviations, acronyms, misspellings, plural or singular forms of them, and stemming. Use “exact-match” keywords – as the name implies, the person conducting the search query needs to enter keywords that match those in your marketing campaign exactly. You can designate these types of keywords by enclosing them in the brackets on your keyboard that look like [ ]. In closing, be aware that...

Di: Danilo Pontone

by Danilo Pontone @ Commenti a: Agriturismo Toscana: una SEO case history

by Danilo Pontone @ Commenti per Hotel 2.0

Ciao

tors and treatment strategies for severe ADV infection in children undergoing chemotherapy.Case summary: We report a case of a 15-year-old boy with a fatal systemic ADV infection. He had received reinduction chemotherapy for relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia under continuing antifungal therapy for previously diagnosed fungal pneumonia. He complained of fever and right shoulder pain 4 days after completing the reinduction chemotherapy. In spite of appropriate antibiotic and antifungal therapy, pneumonia was aggravated and gross hematuria was accompanied. A multiplex polymerase chain reaction test for respiratory viruses was positive for ADV in a blood sample, and a urine culture was positive for ADV. He received oral ribavirin, intravenous immunoglobulin, and intravenous cidofovir therapy; however, he eventually died. Relapsed leukemia, concurrent fungal pneumonia, and delayed cidofovir administration were considered the cause of the grave outcome in this patient. Conclusion: ADV may cause severe infections not only in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant recipients, but also in patients undergoing chemotherapy for acute leukemia. The risk factors for severe ADV infection in patients undergoing chemotherapy should be determined in the future studies, and early antiviral therapy should be administered to immune compromised patients with systemic ADV infection....

by Massimo Rosina @ Commenti per Hotel 2.0

Case Study: Sending Local Citations to an Affiliate Site

by Matt Diggity @ Diggity Marketing

If you’re in local SEO, you’re likely very familiar with local citations and business directory listings. In case you’re not up-to-speed, citations are basically directory listings that include the name, address, and phone number (NAP) of local businesses. Some primary examples of citations are: Yellow Pages, Yahoo Local, Yelp, etc. Citations are the foundation for climbing up rankings in the Map Pack (now known as the 3-Pack or Snack Pack). The more times that Google can match your Google My Business NAP with directory citations, the more you’ll see yourself climbing up the map rankings. But what does this have to do with affiliate SEO? Most SEOs don’t try to rank their affiliate websites locally or in Google Maps. No one searches for “garcinia cambogia chicago” nor do they look for the closest location they can “get rid of acne before prom.” Although you might have no incentive for ranking your affiliate site locally, here are 6 compelling reasons why you should consider adding citations to your backlink blueprint.

Yesterday the new plugins directory was officially released replacing the old, “legacy” one. Many community members (including me) feel that most of the issues that were addressed during the feedback phase were unfortunately ignored, but one thing that was significantly improved for sure is the search. It is still lacking way behind the search capabilities …

Paperless bankruptcy law: how we digitized a client’s intake form using WordPress

by Taylor Hornberger @ JSO Digital, Inc. – Data Driven Digital Marketing in NYC

Let’s face it, especially since the bankruptcy laws changed in 2005, bankruptcy lawyers are no stranger to paperwork. We made a bankruptcy […]

by Danilo Pontone @ Commenti per Hotel 2.0

Ciao Gianluca, ti ringrazio.

The Best Internet Marketing Strategies for Your Small Business

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

It has often been contended that there is little, if any difference, between an internet and a traditional marketing strategy.  Both types of strategies are developed with a dual purpose – to drive more traffic to your website and build brand awareness through online visibility. That is the best way to target your select audience. However, the methods vary. You don’t have to pay for expensive television advertisements or for radio advertisements, as rules differ for digital marketing. Where overall marketing plan is concerned, there are 5 key components that when used in conjunction with one another can form a very effective strategy.  These include: Content marketing – everyone should know by now that content is king and should be at the core of every online marketing strategy. Content marketing is highly effective once you have SEM as a base and a good delivery foundation. Geo-specific or local SEO – this particular strategy component is ideal for smaller businesses that choose not to cater to regional, national, and global consumer audiences. Consequently, the goal of a geo-specific or local SEO strategy is to achieve the highest ranking possible for local area searches. Mobile marketing – having a responsive or mobile-friendly website design is imperative since the number of internet searches using smartphones and tablets has exceeded those on PC’s and laptops. Basically, mobile marketing is all about providing individuals with the best possible end-user experience. Search engine marketing (SEM) – comprised of paid search advertising (PSA) and unpaid search marketing. Therefore, the goal of SEM is to drive more visitors to your website using paid and unpaid search techniques. You might need to discuss it in details with the digital marketing service you hire. Social media marketing – as the newest resident of the online marketing landscape, social media platforms...

The Truth About Link Diversity: What is Actually Needed to Rank?

There are many different types of link sources that SEOs are utilizing today.  I recently conducted a poll in the Proper PBN Facebook Group, asking folks what link types they’re currently sending to their money sites.

Tips To Get Video Content to Rank on YouTube

by RocketMAD @ Rocket Marketing & Design

Within the past several years, YouTube has developed into a source of potentially limitless website visitor traffic.  Nearly 100 hours of video is getting uploaded every 60 seconds, making YouTube an extremely overcrowded venue for marketing who you are and what you do.  So with all this overcrowding, you must be asking yourself “How on earth am I going to get my video content to rank on YouTube?”  Here are 4 ways to make that happen: Customize your video’s thumbnail – as the face of your YouTube video, your thumbnail is the first thing that your viewers are going to see, therefore, it really has to impress them. Simply stated, creating thumbnails that have been tailored to what your video is all about are going to outperform the ones that YouTube automatically selects for you. Place key phrases and keywords in your video’s title – you want your viewers to know exactly what they are going to see when they play your videos. So it’s imperative that you put key phrases and keywords in the video’s headline or title.  Remember to keep your headlines or titles short and to the point. Put vital key phrases and keywords in your description in order to optimize it – don’t force them or “stuff” them in, but make sure your description flows naturally. If you don’t do this, it will hinder your chances of achieving a higher ranking in the YouTube search engine results pages. Use the keywords well and weave it through the concise description. It will come up as Meta-description, when the users search through online videos. Use strong key phrases and keywords at all times – you’ll have to find those keywords and add them to your video since YouTube cannot search for content keywords. Fortunately, they have a “keyword...
